Part 1 - Virtual Mentorship Session - 60 Minutes
During your first virtual session, Jon provides insight into the critically important role CF boards play in the overall leadership and oversight of the CF investment fund and its developmental lending process.
Your group session begins with a quick refresher on developmental lending and how it differs from conventional business lending. You’ll then look at five roles your board plays in terms of effectively governing the CF greatest asset – its loan or investment funds. You’ll also receive governance tips and tools designed to streamline loan portfolio governance and oversight.
Part 2, Virtual Mentorship Session - 75 to 90 minutes
In your second virtual session, Jon will take you deeper into the most effective ways to govern the CF loan fund. You’ll discover the 5 Cs of developmental lending as well as the importance of considering whether financing projects fit with the board-approved strategic plan for your region or community. Jon tailors the experience to your needs and objectives so you get the most out of every minute.
