This small group program is designed to enhance your skills and improve your confidence both as a lender and as a small business coach. It also provides an opportunity for you to take part in ongoing interactions within the group, as well as one-on-one mentoring with your Developmental Lending trainer and coach.
Developmental Lending Leaders Mentorship Program
Our exclusive mentorship program helps take you to the next level as a developmental lender. We walk you through your roles and responsibilities as a leader in the developmental lending process, so you can make faster, more informed decisions for your organization. Note: your must complete the Developmental Lending course before you can enroll in the Developmental Lending Leaders Mentorship Program.

Meet Jon Close
Developmental Lending Coach and Mentor
Jon is passionate about helping small business leaders to strengthen their capacity for greater success. His passion for small business coaching and lending has been developed over a lending career that has spanned 40 plus years. Jon has held Senior Commercial Lending positions, worked with a provincial crown lender, and has managed an Angel Investor network. Jon is especially proud of his 30 plus years of direct association with the Community Futures program. In his various roles, Jon has coached and trained countless small businesses leaders. He has owned and operated several and has served on corporate boards of directors. Jon brings this experience and his passion for Community Futures to this CF Developmental Lending training program.
